The Farrow blasting system has long been a favourite among many of us who support businesses and individuals with surface cleaning, because the technology offers a unique environmentally friendly, low-pressure way to clean any surface.
Among the biggest benefits of the Farrow blasting system is its gentle nature, which means it can remove dirt or paint without damaging the surface below.
As long-standing users, and former franchisees of the Farrow system, we have a great deal of experience with these machines and now offer support to others who want to keep their trusty Farrow blasting system running as the company has closed.
With that in mind, we’ve got three top tips to help you keep your machine in top condition.
- Carry out regular inspections of the machine
This might sound obvious but it is worth mentioning because it is easy to put these inspections off when you are busy. That often seems like a good idea until you encounter a problem. As a minimum, make sure you are regularly inspecting the hoses and controls.
- Flush the system after use
Aside from any other reason to do so, this ensures your machine is quicker and easier to set up the next time you want to use it. But this process also ensures you can store this piece of equipment safely.
Emptying the water tank and removing all of the remaining media from your system will ensure it can be stored safely and that the parts won’t get damaged because of residual moisture in the machine.
- Get help with faults early
If you notice a problem with your machine, no matter how small, and you are unable to work out how to fix it yourself, contact us for support. The earlier you seek help, usually the quicker and easier the repair will be.
